Terms of service
The agreement between Drayton and the restaurants that use it, in plain words.
The service
Drayton provides point of sale software, kitchen screens, online ordering and payment processing for restaurants. These terms apply to every location on your account.
Your account
You are responsible for the people you give access to, and for keeping manager codes private. Tell us right away if you think someone used your account without permission.
Fees and billing
Software is billed per location, monthly or yearly, at the prices on the pricing page when you sign up. Card processing fees are taken from each payout. Yearly plans are billed in advance and are not refunded for unused months.
Hardware
Hardware you buy is yours. It carries a two year warranty, and you can return it within 30 days for a full refund. Hardware paid over 12 months stays yours if you leave, with any balance due.
Your data
Your menus, sales and guest records belong to your restaurant. You can export them at any time, including after you decide to leave.
Acceptable use
Do not use Drayton to process payments for goods or services you do not provide, or in any way that breaks the law or card network rules.
Uptime and support
We aim for 99.9% uptime each month and publish incidents on our status page. Support is available by phone and chat every day from 6 am to 2 am Central.
Ending the agreement
You can cancel monthly plans with 30 days notice and yearly plans at renewal. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, after telling you why and giving you time to fix it when we can.
Liability
Drayton is not liable for lost profits or indirect losses. Our total liability in any year is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes and law
We will tell you 30 days before these terms change. These terms are governed by the laws of Illinois. Questions go to legal@draytonpos.com.
See your own menu on Drayton before you switch
Send us your menu before the call and we load it for you, so the demo shows your tables, your stations and your prices. Twenty minutes, no slides.
